For those of us who are not going on a supervised Water Fast, caution is the key word. I'm going to take a 'leap of Faith', and begin a long Fast. I want to feel Firsthand the effects on my Body. There are some of you who want to go too, for various reasons. Rather than discuss the reasons, I feel the mechanics of the fast are more important, even though our reasons are interesting.
Burning Glycogen stores, entering Ketosis, burning fat, stopping short of burning muscle by ending the fast at the correct point, and refeeding in the correct way, are some of my concerns.
