Now vektek. No where did I say God has ESP or "just" ESP....I was just using an example to help people as yourself understand the foreknowledge of God.
Of course foreknowledge of God interferes with your theology somewhat and that is why you act like you don't understand.
God is Omniscient.
The attribute of God by which God perfectly and eternally knows all things which can be known, past, present, and future.
God has the ability to know ahead of time the outcome of our lives, being the good Father that He is, He would be opening doors for us in all sorts of life situations to help us...but it is still up to us to make the decision to go through the door He opened. The foreknowledge of God does not interfere with our free will or His sovereignty. He is still in control.
Jonah was swallowed by a large fish that God provided (the door) Jonah did not want to do what God wanted him to do. As he sat in the belly of that fish he rethought his decision. Did God make the decision for him or did Jonah? God's will was still done and Jonah's free will was still intact.
As adults we know the outcome of some of the good or bad decisions our child will make. We give them choices. They learn that they will receive positive/good things in life or if they choose incorrectly, they learn they will receive something negative/bad. This is all part of our spiritual growth.
