Perhaps that is the agenda, I can see where there would be some people that may think that this is a good thing, everyone agreeing, because those that disagree have been driven away by personal attack and abuse. Perhaps it gives those that do the attacking and abusing a sense of self righteousness.

It may give the appearance that lots of people agree with them, but if you look at forums, like the Politics Forum , it gives the appearance that everyone on CZ is a right wing christian conservative, but this is a false appearance.

People who are interested in discussing issues in a civil manner, and may have a different view, simply don't post there. So the usual suspects may look like they are in charge of the forum, but they really are like tin pot gods.

I notice the same sort of thing with the agree/disagree votes. It seems that when someone is targeted as a person, rather than what information they are putting out, even the most innocuous of posts collects disagree votes. lol, I've seen this on posts that I've put up, where the message is simply a compliment to another poster, and this gets a number of disagree votes. It just makes a joke of the system, so I no longer take it seriously at all.
