Try papaya
I, too, have been taking flax seed oil first in capsules, then in oil form for several years and believe in it's benefits, certainly have come to love the taste of it. There are so many uses: in salad dressings, over breakfast cereal or granola, in smoothies, over steemed veggies or rice or potatoes or pasta etc. More recently, I switched over to Udo's Choice Oil (Omega 3-6-9). All these oils don't seem to give me any physical discomfort, but I do believe I don't digest them well, because BM's tend to float....So I used to take high quality digestive enzymes, very good and effective and very expensive in the long run.
A few month's ago I stopped the digestive enzymes and wanted to see what fresh papaya would do instead. It's great! I have a peace of fresh papaya WITH the seeds with every meal; my digestion is so peaceful and quiet I still can't believe it!I chew the seeds or else they go through untouched. They are a bit strong but you'll get used to them. Supposedly great against parasites.
I would not suggest papaya for someone with a serious candida issue. My candida is thankfully a thing of the past...
