Interesting part about stress elevating oxytocin.  Guess that is why they say the best sex is make up sex.

And it makes perfect sense that stomach acid decreases in times of stress.  Stress responses are often survival mechanisms.  If you are being chased your body does not want to worry about digestion.  Energy needs to diverted to the muscles to help you get away.


I was just wondering if there might be reaction modulating
effects from arginine that might break the cycle of reactivity since I believe that the adrenal system and gut issues would form a cycle that needs a dampening of reactivity as well as adrenal support.

Not really sure what you are asking.  But I figure it has something to do with the effects of arginine-vasopressin's effects on the adrenals through ACTH
