JIK, you need to read "stages of a water fast". I'm not sure who exactly you are looking for, maybe Shelton. Somewhere on this forum are links to all the best books on fasting. Maybe they should all appear in the books link up top--But I don't think they do. People ask, again and again about every single symptom, and I do understand it's more out of comeraderie than any special concern...so, this is the community aspect of the forum.

Look at the Soil and Health Library, or forum 'google', stages of a water fast, and that sort of thing. Actualhealth is being teasing, but it's true--all this is discussed in the fasting literature, by the fasting masters, going back a hundred and more years.

I enjoyed reading Dr. Bass's site. he has a long history of fasting. Lots to read.
