Re: O/T - Broken Bone Healing

they always try to sell ya surgery. My gal friend broke her foot pretty bad and thats what they tried to tell her, but she's kinda the tough sort, and roughed it out and today is walkin just fine with no problemo whatsoever and her only bill was $ 200 for talkin to some MD who tried to sell her a $ 10000 surgery. LOL.

Just like them dentists who tried to sell me root canals. They can all go fk themselves with their un-necessary "treatments", we ain't chickenshits, we're the last two Americans left who ain't frightened by the slight possibliity of whatever gloom them money grubbers throw at us.

If yer husband can't get over a little pressure, then I don't know what to tell ya.
I guess it all boils down to the degree we wuz raised to be nurtured. Some folks get over it quicker than others. Hope I ain't offended ya, just expressing my opinion. I've had worse wounds than compression fracture wrist and didn't bat an eye at em. Most docs today'll tell ya that ya need to spend money, cuz that's what they let themselves to believe they're in business for. If ya look real hard ya might find one who don't think that way, but don't hold yer breath, this ain't 1950 no more and there's a whole bunch of paper money to be made sellin surgeries, mammograms, lip jobs, boob jobs, sub-prime loans, faces in jars and fancy cars that nobody really needs.
