Yes, Adam sinned, and condemnation came. But, the scripture I quoted above, says the law could never perfect anyone, it could never make things right again, but that the law was given that it might increase sin even. Why? Because only one can perfect us, and make us right again, and remove our condemnation, and that is Jesus Christ, and he gives this gift freely as that scripture says in Romans 5:8. So unless we are driven to Christ, abandoning our own "good works" as a means to salvation, then we are without hope.
