your obgyn is not very bright. Mirena is documented to cause cysts and it is used with caution in diabetics. back pain and headaches are very common, and by the time I got it out I couldn't be outside even on the foggiest day without sunglasses, and I couldn't drive at night at all. go to the mirena website and look up "safety with Mirena", its all there (except liver problems). Go to "the truth in medicine forum" if you have questions about how hormones affect your liver and how you can clear them.
