Re: anyone hear here?!
what i don't understand is that the ant-flush contingent claims that the flushes do not work. fine and dandy.
but then they go on to say that the flushes are dangerous.
how can something that supposedly does not work be dangerous?
this is one of the many obvious contradictions in their logic
There is no contradiction of all if the whole explanation is looked at rather than fragments of it. The risk is IF the person has real gallstones present, which the vast majority of people doing these "flushes" apparently do not have. If real gallstones are present then the contraction of the gallbladder can lodge these real and calcified stones in a bile duct requiring emergency surgery. If no real stones are present the only thing that is going to happen is that they are going to pass the saponified olive oil in their feces that they will mistake for real gallstones. See, no contradiction at all.
then they say that the sphincter of oddi cannot dilate enough to let stones pass through. so if the sphincter cannot dilate sufficiently to let stones pass, then there is no danger at all.
Again that is not what was said. What was said is that the bile ducts, which consist of more than one, cannot dilate sufficiently to allow the passage of real gallstones the size of the blobs of saponified olive oil are passing. In other words as has been pointed out numerous times people are claiming to have passed gallstones in excess of 25mm or more, which is far beyond the absolute maximum dilation of the bile ducts even with the magnesium sulfate. Therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE for these to have come from the gallbladder, which it has been proven they did not. This is why these blobs do not have the color, texture, consistency, density, or other characteristics of REAL gallstones. And why lab analyses have consistently confirmed that these blobs are not true gallstones but rather "hardened olive oil", also known as saponified olive oil or soapstones.
If real gallstones are sufficiently small, a few millimeters or less, or sludge then this can pass through the ducts. But these large green blobs people have posted photos of are clearly not real gallstones. And since they are not coming from the gallbladder there is no issue with how far the bile ducts expand since these soap stones are forming in the intestines not the gallbladder.
