I just started taking KAL brand Nutritional Yeast Flakes. I have alot of digestion issues and yeast pervasive in my system with gut dysbiosis. I don't know what kind of yeast but assume it is a byproduct of the parasite/infection I have that has cost me 55 pounds. I bought both Fortified and Unfortified versions of the yeast flakes. The fortified have added vitamins and a much better nutritional profile but contain 14g of carbs and 5g of fiber per serving and with yeast I am unsure about taking them. The unfortified have 4g carbs and no fiber but much less vitamin content. What would you recommend?
