I have refractory Celiac Sprue and an allergy to Cow's milk and hot peppers and cannot tolerate most grains and some other foods. The Specific Carbohydrate Diet has been helpful. I'm using lots of goat's milk kefir for the probiotics. For Candida and other intestinal yeasts took candida herbs (Kroeger's) and Neem. I have been using Hulda Clark 's programs for years and do parasite herbs regularly. Clarks programs work much better since I've been gluten/cow dairy free. I do not seem to tolerate L-glutamine and an article said that it may not be good for Celiacs. I use Cascara Sangrada and am finding that about 1/2 Watermelon a day is really helping with food backing up in my small intestine and causing gas/bloating and bacteria/yeast overgrowths. When I start to get gas or stomach ache I take Clark's Iodine drops. I've read that Candida lives in a biofilm and to control the yeast it is necessary to dissolve the biofilm. See Stephen F. Olson's article 'Life on the Edge - the clinical implications of gastrointestinal biofilm'. Several people have mentioned the enzyme mixture which attacks the biofilm in their posts.
