edit - yes IT can, not yes I can.

too much elemental iodine, yes it can. from oxidative stress. selenium, vitamin C and good glutathione stores help protect from this, btw. i made the SSKI 2% to attempt the perfect ratio of salt to elemental. it may not be perfect in every way, but its way better than lugols.

while i am advertising, my products are not intended to do anything but to provide the essential element Iodine as a supplement to a diet bereft of said nutrient. it wont cure anything but lack of iodine. Iodine is not approved by the fda because they know it will pinch their doctor and drug company buddies by curing things it is not approved to cure. hopefully they are not even aware that i exist, let alone have evaluated any of my far out(but true) statements. any amount of Iodine taken which exceeds the government recommended amount of 150mcg is experimental only (and a damn good idea, imho). if you trust the government and doctors to look out for you then dont believe me and never purchase anything from me. i dont want to play with you because if you get hurt youll just run home crying and blame me for something you have done, unlike my little sister who blamed me for hitting her in the head with a boomerang and making her get 6 stitches. she was right(it was an accident, i swear!) - you would be wrong.

thank you.
