With careful inspection, I discovered what looks like a boil in my daughter's ear, very near the entrance. I tried yesterday (before reading your response this morning) to put a drop of plain tea tree oil in her ear (on a friend's advice that it would be fine) and just about put her through the roof. Yes, dilution would have been a good thing. I feel terrible. Hope I didn't damage anything.

Not if it was just around the outer ear.  I would only be concerned if it made it to the eardrum since it could cause inflammation of the eardrum or around it.

But this morning, the boil came to a head and opened up a bit. She says it stings, but doesn't ache anymore. So I'm putting off the Dr. and waiting through the weekend.

Regarding andographis: the HFS hasn't heard of it. They did order the suma I requested. I ordered your adrenal tonic a week or so ago which I believe does not have suma. Shall I take it all together?

Yes, you can take the suma with the Adrenal Tonic.  Suma is another adaptogenic herb.
