Re: Ask The Herbalist: Myth of Cold & Flu Season
Okay, I'm looking into getting/using ozone although, as I mentioned in my response to Spud's post, I know about using ozone about as much as my kids know. But this daughter of mine gets an earache with almost very cold. She's had
Antibiotics every year of her life for them. Now I'm thinking that using the
Antibiotics is causing the repeated infections. But her last 2 infections this year were treated at home without drugs (even before I found this forum - it was common sense telling me that enough was enough). My goal is to find a way to do this from now on. She has so much pain with them though, waiting for them to heal on their own. Ozone sounds like the right path. Will it shorten the discomfort and infection?
With careful inspection, I discovered what looks like a boil in my daughter's ear, very near the entrance. I tried yesterday (before reading your response this morning) to put a drop of plain tea tree oil in her ear (on a friend's advice that it would be fine) and just about put her through the roof. Yes, dilution would have been a good thing. I feel terrible. Hope I didn't damage anything.
But this morning, the boil came to a head and opened up a bit. She says it stings, but doesn't ache anymore. So I'm putting off the Dr. and waiting through the weekend.
Regarding andographis: the HFS hasn't heard of it. They did order the suma I requested. I ordered your adrenal tonic a week or so ago which I believe does not have suma. Shall I take it all together?
Sorry for so many questions,
Much Thanks,
Diana
