Re: Does this sound like Seborrheic Dermatitis?

I saw my PC Dr Fri, who is part of an Alternative Holistic and Chinese medical practice, who thinks the problem is stemming from my being in a terrible state of health since the beginning of the year. I have been battling diseases on all fronts and stress also, big time!I have COPD, which had been mild since diagnosis 10 yrs ago, at which time I quit smoking. Then I was Dx'd with Bronchiectasis, another lung disease in March. Have been on home oxygen and inhaler therapy since.
Then 6 weeks ago I developed an acute bowel infection with severe diarrhea and dehydration and had to be hospitalized for 9 days. Put on IV... clear liquids, Antibiotics ,flagyl, got a yeast infection added meds for that in the IV and had CT scans, Colonoscopy and such, which confirmed a worsening of my Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's, diverticulitis and newly diagnosis of narrowing and thickening colon walls, and this infection put me in a major flair.
Since out of hospital, I was put on a Gluten free, soy free, dairy free, no coffee diet and have been juicing fruits and veggies, and eating a bit of soft fish or chicken and natural peanut butter for protein, and almond and rice milk. I have also been on Thorn Research Mediclear, a comprehensive powder supplement drink to support and heal digestive system, Colazol and 4.5 mg lowdosenaltrexone ( will be switching to the trans dermal version as gut is not absorbing well.

On Fri., my Dr took me off of fruits, carrots, and beets as well due to the Sugar content and Sugar feeding the bad gut bacteria. I'm basicly on a live green diet at this point. I also take a 50 billion plus pro-biotic and digestive enzymes every time I eat.
My Dr's take on my face going haywire,is that this was kicked off my body being in such a state of disease and inflammation with a C-reactive protein that went to 28, which is off the charts should be no more than 3 at the most, and is trying to expel everything out, detoxing too fast causing stuff to come out of my face and causing overactive sebaceous oil glands. She wants me to cut back on the powder supplement dose to 1/2 as it is also detoxifies, and put nothing on my face except a honey oatmeal mask twice a day and see if this calms down. She sees the sebum coming out of my pores and also red areas now as being rosacea in addition to SD.
I'm not sure though, I will try it and I am going to try the coconut oil treatment that I see on this forum as well.
It is weird to me though how this really feels the most miserable in the evening. I have read that commonality with both SD and Demodex. Why does it get to feeling so worse every day in the evening?
It's scary to read here that so many people have been chasing for a cure for this for years and years, and I may be having to join you! I never knew about this before.I feel for each and everyone of you!
I had so much on my plate health wise already and to have this added to the heap has been overwhelming me. I spend the day and night on the computer researching and managing gut, lung and skin diseases and possible remedies now, and learning a whole new way of eating which is all too time consuming. I don't know how much more I can deal with, feeling like total crap inside and out.
