Re: Does this sound like Seborrheic Dermatitis?
And it gets worse! I just got a bill in the mail today for another $30.00 co-pay for my coming back on 7/26 per the administrators suggestion when I called to ask why my call on 7/22, leaving a voice mail, about the Glactone Cream causing burning and redness had not been returned yet and stating that my face felt miserable. She said If I could get there in 15 min, I could tell the Dr about it and bring back the the Sunscreen product. When I got there the receptionist quickly ushered me into a room that was not a typical exam room and I sat in a chair next to a desk. No one at the front desk asked me to check in or pay anything. The Dr came in, he did not re-examine me,even though for the second time I told him it is not clearly visible with out a magnifier. He just stood there and told me my skin must be sensitive. I explained what happened when I applied it and pointed out that it said on the bottle to avoid use on the face. He then went to get another product and quickly ushered me out with the 1.35
oz cream I could swap it for to the check out window! They told me I was actually making out on it b/c the 1.35
oz cost 50.00 and what I was returning had cost 40.00 but they would not charge me anything further.
This was my fires visit ever to a Derm. Somehow I expected to be treated better than this, but I should have known better! I have been thru this kind of unacceptable Dr behavior for years in all areas, PC Dr's, GI Dr's and Pulmonologist Dr's and Dentists. It is SO VERY DISGUSTING!
I will be calling them on Mon to let them know I will fight having to pay for this return visit b/c of the Dr's ineptness!
