Re: question for chrisb1

Hi menina,

1- perhaps your insulin and blood Sugar levels are too high. You may be insulin resistant and not even know about it. Check your blood Sugar with a home kit. I would bet it is around 105-110 or even higher. This means that the Sugar cannot get into your cells and that is why you feel hungry. In this sense, you are indeed starving. But the solution is to persist. Eventually, your insulin and blood sugar levels will go down and you will start loosing weight faster. I have been there and I know what you are going through. Hang on.

2- You just stopped smoking. Nicotin actually inhibits insulin resistance and that is why smokers usually gain weight when they stop. This too shall pass if you persist.

3- your mind is playing tricks with you, giving you excuses and all sort of reasons to break your fast. This is temptation in the real world. Do what you want, as long as you are aware of what is going on inside yourself. Eitherway, be grateful, 10 days is nothing to sneeze at.

Cheers,
NoSpoon
