When one is seeking the best way to get nutrients from food one must be logical and practical.Everything is subjective to the individual and how well there digestive track is functioning. If one is digesting in a good fashion than grinding via a grinder or blender may not be necessary. Some seeds such as sesame are at there best sprouted and blended into a smoothie.
I use the chia jell in my smoothies where they get pre chewed in my vita prep 3.If the whole dry seeds get ingested the seeds will wick the moisture from the digestive track and that would be a negative/hydration.
Since you are growing grass I will take it for granted that you know of the nutritional benefit of sprouting a seed over consuming it in it`s dormant state. If you grind the dormant seed you will not be able to tap into the life force of the seed.
There is a lot of mis information when it comes to grass juice.SOD is a super anti-oxidant that is produced by humans and plants. There is debate over weather the whole enzyme can be macro absorbed. Then there is the 70% chlorophyll statement from long ago before a lab analysis was done on grass juice.Grass juice is 98% water and the wheatgrasspeople.com has the analysis to conform this.It is also found in the book "Wheat Grass Nature`s Finest Medicine"written by Steve Meyerowitz.
