The last week of my 40-Day WF was AWFUL. I had nausea, watery saliva that accompanies vomitting (but did not vomit) and the extreme weakness that you describe-- even though my tongue was super pink and my body odours all smelling sweet like roses.
Hang in there. Your body is doing some major re-hauling.
My regret was not fasting to completion and breaking the WF while in "awful" mode, more out of a frustrated, "Hah-its Day-40 and I'm DONE" mentality.
Upon refeeding, I was even weaker and dizzier, felt my heart was going to explode at the slightest activity (walking 2 meters) and even fell on my face!
Listen to your intuition and do what you think is right, but i just wanted to remind you to not be so quick to break your WF, esp when you're feeling as awful as you are right now.
Question for you, if i may:
On your "exceedingly nutritious" 8-week refeed, did you supplement with any oils (omega-3, flax etc)? Or eat any fish, meat? Just curious...
