Re: My Iodine Update

My diet is very good....if I may say so myself :-))

Absolutely no processed foods (never did) or preservatives . Typically it consist of:

Breakfast - Either an egg or sprout cereal or bread (Ezekial brand) or homemade oatmeal

Lunch - Don't normally eat it...usually if I am hungary I take 2 tab. of Superfood with 2 tab. of chia seeds in a glass of water.

Dinner - I cook every night so I will have either chicken or turkey or tonight I make lamb chops with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. I also had a sprout salad with cranberries and walnuts. I roast fresh peppers at least once a week and snack on them. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and never use preservatives of any kind. In the winter I make a lot of soup. I usually have some type of fish once a week. Don't eat much pasta.

My parents were health nuts and had a good diet growing up as well. My mom was stay at home and cooked every night. I think my genetics were bad. I feel like my thyroid has been off my whole life and it can't be good to have DCIS at 27 years of age.

I'm getting there....small baby steps but I'm getting there!!
