I have the exact same depression/anxiety/cravings Water Fasting problem as you. i will be your fasting buddy if you like!!! I have been dealing with it on my own/by posting here/by trying to talk to "civilian" non-fasting friends about it... I have only been able to get to 4.5 days and my most recent fast was only 3.25 days. I think I am juuuuuust below the threshhold of support level that I need to keep the fast a little longer. I would really love to be a support/receive support from someone in the same situation! I am starting another fast I hope for 5-10 days very soon. I think if we messaged by email or PM here -- it might really help. We could even prepare together for the fast. what really would help me would be being able to talk out all my reservations about the fast beforehand with someone. And being in touch several times a day. I find that just staying in close touch with support really helps me to stay on a fast. I think I lost my last fast, in fact, simply because I ... took the afternoon and evening off from posting/reading/ keeping on top of my feelings/expressing them. Sometimes I just need that level of support/staying on top of myself/expressing and letting out my desire to eat, when it comes. i did manage to do the fast for these 3-4 day periods though with that level of support. i didn't think I could. But I did and I would surely still be fasting now if I had availed myself of it. I hope you write me -- it sounds like we could help each other!!
