I would love to do a water only fast, but I can't. I have depression, so I have very little self-control when the cravings come. Once I start thinking about food, it's a spiral of anxiety until I need food or I'll keep being miserable about it.
I did a water-only fast for four days a few months ago when I was less depressed, and it was terrible. Cravings only got more and more intense, and I felt worse and worse, until I ate.
A juice fast is manageable for me, but if you have any tips, let me know.
