Re: 3rd day refeeding after 25 day WF
yes Sun, I think a lot of people wondered whether Olivia's fasts weren't actually starvation, *with* lots of vitamins and minerals. ( I mean, she took a lot) The amazing thing to me is, that it all seems to have served her well. She's pregnant with her 8th child ( that in itself blows my mind).
Apparently she had a bunch of MD tests and passed them all. ;-) She began the fasts when the 7th child was six weeks old.
I was presenting Olivia's fasts for contrast, and to help with perspective. In the end, it is Mind that is the builder, and if someone feels that chicken is what the body wants, then likely it is.

I don't actually think the chicken after this person's
Water Fast is so earth-shattering as some seem to. I figured we were talking about bites, well-chewed, and not carcasses with giant drumsticks flying about: an orgy of chicken. :-)
Although I didn't desirte meat after a fast (nor do I eat it at all) I recall musing over some raw salmon--some excellent quality sashimi, or some sort of white fish, marinated in lime juice; ceviche. And I thought you and I had both talked about the appeal of raw fish. To each his/her wone. My sense these days is that the mindstate is more important than anything; and one person can eat chicken and be truly thankful and bless that chicken, while another can 'hate' the chicken and the body that's eating it!
