Re: Numbness in hands and feet

I had my Mirena IUD put in not even two weeks ago. I can't believe the number of problems I am having since then. It was only day 12 that I realized it is probably the IUD. One of them was that my joints started having problems; one day a knee, then my shoulders, the next my upper back killing me. Then I noticed some strange numbness and tingling.

This goes along with feeling totally forlorn and sad - with no external reason. Headache, dizziness, palpitations. Unbelievable.

I started thinking I was getting Rheumatoid Arthritis or something before I connected the Mirena.

I'm going for my two week check tomorrow and my intention is to have it removed, but I'm nervous the doctor is going to poo-poo me and convince me to keep it in. Guess I'm looking for support.
