Re: Hello All! Eight months later
Sure free no problem! I ordered them from sleepingdragon, a seller on ebay, (I can post the link if you would like) i ordered a series of oils based on their properties from a website. I have been mixing some with shea butter for my hair and its working better than the money I used to shell out on expensive hair products and everyone knows how expensive the African American hair industry can get.
For one recipe I used the following
5-10 drops of carrot seed oil
10-15 drops clary sage
10-15 drops of rosemary
a tsp or two of jojoba oil
a few scoops of shea butter (4-8 maybe)
Melt the shea butter first in a saucepan, preferably non stick for easier cleaning. When the butter completely melts add the natural oils. I prefer to put them in sterilized baby food bottles since they are small and you can drop it several times without shattering. You can refrigerate so it can harden if you are in a rush or you can just let it sit out for a few hours.
I love this stuff. You can also melt shea butter with some peppermint oil or clary sage oil for the skin since they are known to have a bit of anti bacterial properties.
Hope this helps. With the hair for real results you have to be patient and wait at least 6-8 weeks. Also when making batches variety is the key so sometimes you can switch rosemary oil with basil or peppermint instead of sage.
