Re: How would you Iodine believers proceed?
Thanks for the encouragement.
I'm new to the idea of detoxing.
I didn't mention it before - but I got a giant cystic
Acne on my forehead 5 days after the tincture, and used an
Antibiotic ointment on it. I haven't had cystic
Acne on my face for 10 years.
My skin seems to have a pink/mild version of rosacea all the time, and seemed to clear up some after the tincture (only good reaction I had).
The cyst I could definitely see as being detox... and unlike other people I can handle getting giant cysts. What I can't handle is headaches or brain-fog - since I need a clear mind during the day.
I'm very logical (I'm a computer programmer), and make most of my decisions by doing a pragmatic analysis of the situation.
Mainstream medicine (drug-pushers) have been completely unhelpful to me in the past. I haven't gone to the doctor much in the last 10 years. When I have, each time they've failed horribly to solve my problem.
So I believe in taking health matters in my own hands. And I'm very open to trying alternative remedies. But unlike coconut oil, turmeric, Vit D3 or other remedies I read on EarthClinic that worked for me, I feel
Iodine is powerful enough that I need to be cautious.
I'll probably come back to it in a month or two after taking the companion nutrients and maybe some kelp (I've never eaten any sea vegetables before).
