IVERMECTIN & DOXYCYCLINE PROTOCOL: Strongyloides

Hi Mycoplasma ~~

Ref:  http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1589757#i

The Ivermectin schedule I suggested (every 3 days) was a way to maximize the use of the 35 tabs your doctor scripted for you.

There are several ways to spread the doses out to achieve max benefit.  Another method is 3 days on, 4 days off, then repeat for several cycles.  Both methods are effective.

Staggering the doses targets the adults first & then the released eggs & larva after they've matured & are vulnerable to the drugs.

If you had a larger quantity of meds, I'd have devised a slightly different schedule.

I mentioned the Doxycycline as a booster because I thought you might already be taking it for your RMSF & Lyme.  Thanx for verifying that.

So resume your regular daily dose of Doxycycline in addition to the zinc supplement (take it separately ~ at least 1 hr before or after the Doxy).

Zinc attacks parasites in the GI tract & heals damaged skin & tissue.

Studies show that Doxy, taken daily for 4-6 weeks, increases the cure rate of Ivermectin.

Remember to take Doxy with 8 oz water & nondairy light meal.  Don't lay down for 30 min to prevent acid reflux.  And no dairy, minerals, zinc, iron, vitamins, magnesium, tums, pepto bismol, or other antacids for 1 hr before or after the Doxy.  If nausea occurs, eat saltine or soda crackers for relief.

Please post your progress on the forum ~ feedback helps everyone.

Let us know if we can be of further help!

Good luck!

Cheers ~~ ICU
