Re: cost effective antifungals?

I have tried a few brands of inulin, and while none were very sweet, they all were slightly sweet. I still feel like I would be better off taking a few grams of straight fructose. It doesn't take much fos to cause real problems for me. It's like a straight shot to whatever is down there that's causing so much trouble, unhindered by the stomach and pancreas.

I will try the oat bran. Do you know anything about acacia's prebiotic effects? I have read a very little bit about it, and heather's tummy fiber seems to be the main seller of it, followed by a few candida sites. Even that seems to give me extra brain fog and the kind of metallic sweet taste in the back of my mouth that always precedes a thrushy tongue. Not sweet at all.
