That is understood, but not everyone is dealing with these particular infections and that is where proper testing and diagnosis is important. That is the difficulty in ME, what is the primary infection that is causing the problem. Immune system shifting (Th1/Th2) responses are normal (HPA axis) where one side of the immune system can become dominant which weakens the other side (cellular/humoral) and that is where the co-infections come in. Parasites, mycoplasm and Lyme related infection are among the worst.
