Re: Lyme coinfections
40 years..that's how long ago it was that I was so sick from the RMSF from an actual tick. Looking back now, I can see how the fatigue was a factor for alot of those years, but I pushed my way through it.
Depression was a factor for all those years too.
My husband found out something recently too, for what has been chronic health problems for years too. Several men here were diagnosed with Brucellosis (Brucella) quite a few years back. 40 years ago, my husband was having his own health stuff going on, and Dr's couldn't pinpoint what it was. Daily fevers, extreme fatigue, chronic prostatitis. He had a "feeling" that he also had Brucellosis, and probably his father also. They not only had worked with infected cattle (ranchers), but they also had a small family dairy, and drank raw milk.
Recently, he asked the Alternative Dr that has been a big help to me with alot of this stuff, to do biofeedback testing for Brucella for him. It showed to be a definite problem. About that time, we had just gotten the Rife, Frequency generator- and the minute we started running frequencies for him for the Brucella, he knew it. It's been a major problem for him. What is even more interesting, is that after a few weeks of addressing the Brucella, the Borrelias, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Bartonellas started showing up. Brucella is a coinfection of Lyme.
I agree- denial is a big thing with Lyme. One lady was adamant that her problem had to be pinworms, especially because of the intense itching too. All the different types of tests she did, she couldn't get a diagnosis for anything. But..because they live in a high Lyme area, she had her teenage daughter tested for Lyme, because of the chronic fatigue etc. Sure enough, the daughter was diagnosed with Lyme at the same time this woman was intent on trying to get a diagnosis of pinworms. No amount of persuasion could convince her to have herself checked for Lyme too.
With the internet, there's alot of opportunity for research. Finding first the Brucella a problem, and then the other coinfections too, has been a surprise for my husband, but it also gave answers for what has been going on for years.
BTW, his father died of esophogeal cancer, and his younger brother had to drop out of college for similar chronic health problems. The sister in law, married to the brother with the chronic health problems- now has MS. Working with a 30 year old MS friend the past few months, when I told him that MRI's of MS brain scans (lesions) showed the exact same thing as MRI's with Lyme people, he decided to also have the biofeedback testing done.
I've been fortunate to have a good practitioner, because I know other's have tried to find help through ND's, and Alternative Dr's with no success. In two types of biofeedback testing, what showed the highest priority problem for the MS friend..is Brucella, Borrelias, Babesia, and Ehrlichia. What the Dr's are putting a bandaid over, and not addressing for the festering splinters underneath, is Lyme. And..also specific brain parasites.
