Re: Women, help with health, please.

Hi UchihaMadara,
I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose your friend's problems, but in comparing her symptoms to those I suffered for many years, it seems very much like a hormonal imbalance - oestrogen/progesterone imbalance (take the on-line hormone balance test for free at: http://www.johnleemd.com/store/resource_hormonetest.html
) combined with a adrenal exhaustion and therefore thyroid dysfunction.

I suffered with similar problems as you describe this young lady suffering (depression, hormonal problems - severe period pain so intense that I would collapse and needed pethedine injections each month to cope - from when I was 15 years of age. No medical drugs helped the source of my condition at all. I didn't have a pethidine deficiency - I had a hormone imbalance that severely interfered with my life. I needed hormones, not pethidine. I recommend this young lady try the only thing that worked for me. Natural bio-identical hormones and nutrition and exercise.

Lexapro is an SSRI anti-depressant. I would not take this drug - EVER. Lexapro causes suicidal and homicidal ideation (violent tendencies) and that is a FACT according to scientific research: http://www.justiceseekers.com/html/lexapro-suicide-case.htm.
Lexapro and all SSRIs are dangerous and they mess with the mind. Your friend's mind will never get better until it gets those things that the body is screaming out for – and it's not anti-depressants! It's Vitamin B3 according to Dr Andrew W Saul Ph D, Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist and Author, and his team at http://www.foodmatters.tv/
Take foods high in B vitamins along with the B3. If you register to receive the newsletter from FoodMatters, you become eligible to watch 2 free videos of your choice. You can watch the Depression video here http://www.foodmatters.tv/_webapp/Depression%20and%20Mental%20Illness
where the team of doctors discuss mental illness and Vit B3. I was very impressed and ended up getting the entire video.

Dr Andrew W Saul from http://www.foodmatters.tv/
says that people with Depression most always have a Vitamin B3 dependency (different from a deficiency) and when this vitamin is given in varying doses, the Depression disappears. You can watch the video here http://www.foodmatters.tv/
but you have to register (free) to watch the sample videos, one of which is on depression. The Food Matters video is an excellent film. I am taking Vit B complex and Vit B3 (naicin, naicinamide) every day with excellent results. Again, I recommend you and your friend see the depression video here: http://www.foodmatters.tv/_webapp/Depression%20and%20Mental%20Illness

Please follow up the information given by Dr Ann Blake Tracy (expert witness in court cases re SSRI drugs).

Dr Ann Blake Tracy states that recent testing reveals that depressed patients are usually intolerant to dairy products and that they have trouble with blood Sugar remaining balanced. Raw foods for 30 days even stabilises the fluctuating blood Sugar of diabetics http://www.youtube.com/user/JFHEALTHYandFit#p/u/30/y41BDg1bBo8
One similar problem that people with blood glucose/sugar problems is that the object to going onto an all raw food diet. This is evidenced also on the video http://www.youtube.com/user/JFHEALTHYandFit#p/u/30/y41BDg1bBo8
. I notice that your friend also objects to raw fruit and this can be expected to climax as the withdrawal from dairy and other processed foods cause symptoms, especially emotional ones. This is explained in the video. http://www.youtube.com/user/JFHEALTHYandFit#p/u/30/y41BDg1bBo8.
Doctors state that in dealing with any illness, nutrition should be increased along with exercise where possible.

Dr Ann Blake Tracy warns that trying to get off SSRIs is not safe if done 'cold turkey.' People must wean themselves off these drugs very slowly or they can experience suicidal/homicidal episodes. Eg the Columbine High School massacre, Andrea Yates etc Dr Tracy recommends using essential oils, among other things, to get off the SSRIs safely. In her book, "Paxil, Panacea or Pandora?" page 352-353 she advocates the use of certain essential oils because they have the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. Dr Tracy states that tests with essential oils have been carried out by various scientists who found that: depression was treated successfully with: jasmine, sandalwood, orange blossom, verbena and lemon oils. For anxiety or hysteria ; bergamot, neroli, cypress, orange leaf, lime, rose, violet leaves and marjoram. Manic depression: bergamot; Chelation: combination under arms, under feet, over kidneys of lemon, juniper berry and cypress.

In an audio presentation, http://www.all4wellness.com/clarity.mp3,
Dr Tracy recommends Young Living Essential Oil blends called Brain Power, Clarity, Joy, Peace and Calming, and the oil Frankincense. The doctors states that tests reveal that these oils help the SSRI taker, to wean themselves off the drugs while supporting the correct function of the brain and its chemistry http://www.all4wellness.com/drtracy.php?d=745136;.

Thankfully for me, I refused to take SSRIs and so don't have the problem of having to wean myself off them. Dr Tracy says it can take up to 2 years to completely get off the drugs.

I have taken all diary and Sugar out of my diet and it took 6 weeks to notice a positive difference. What I have found in my own experience with hormonal imbalance is that the following products work for me:

*Progest E (bio-identical hormone to replace natural progesterone in the body) and
*Sclaressence (an essential oil blend produced by Young Living Essential Oils company which increases oestrogen levels if deficient).
The most noticeable difference though was when I included a product called
*Thyromin, also from Young Living. Thyromin supports the adrenals as well as the thyroid. Elaine Hollingsworth, author of Take Control of Your Health and Escape the Sickness Industry at http://www.doctorsaredangerous.org,
warns that you cannot treat the thyroid before the adrenal glands are supported or you make the thyroid condition worse. I use all three of the above products.

Also, you might like to investigate parasitic infections as parasites can play havoc with hormones. Lots of people on CureZone know a lot more than I do about parasites so you might want to read some of the posts in the parasite forum.

If you would like more information on oils or hormonal problem, please private message me. I'm not a doctor. I have just 'been through the mill' with hormone problems and have learned a little bit along the way.

Hope this helps you help this young lady. I feel compassion for you both. Hormonal imbalance is a really awful condition and it effects just about everything in your life.

XG
