For chest congestion and coughing, she should nebulize with colloidal silver and lobelia. She can get a complete kit that includes these three items at http://www.utopiasilver.com at a reasonable price. They also carry a product called Clear Lungs that will help relieve congestion. By using their coupon code LR001, she will receive these items at a 15% discount if they are not on sale. Besides nebulizing it, she may also want to take it internally. Colloidal silver will also help the sinus headaches and should clear up the vaginosis. It will also relieve the canker sores. Swish the colloidal silver over them and then swallow. Taking colloidal silver daily will prevent, not only future bladder infections, but all types of infections. Frankly, it works way better than any antibiotics on the market. Colloidal silver is "Nature's Antibiotic."
When did the panic attacks start? Can she pinpoint something that triggered them? Panic attacks are not only the result of a physically malnourished body, but very often they also have emotional roots. Many times, these need to be resolved. Does she have a therapist that she can talk to? Also, practicing relaxation exercises is also beneficial. Have her sit in a comfortable chair and start with her feet, tensing and relaxing, working all the way up her body. Have her do this several times a day. Meditation and EFT are also good tools when addressing anxiety. She should picture herself in a place where she was the happiest and bask in that feeling, or imagine that she is in a location that would make her relaxed and happy....... The beach, a forest, a room furnished just for her. She can find meditations on YouTube. The link for the emotional freedom technique (EFT) is http://www.emofree.com/ She will also find videos on YouTube on this subject.
What is her diet like? She should do away with sugar, processed foods, junk foods, fast foods, etc. Eat a mostly raw diet, comprising of 80% raw, 20% cooked. The cooked portion should consist of chicken, fresh water fish, and turkey. Turkey contains L-tryptothan and will help her relax. No vegetable oil or canola oil. Use only olive oil, flaxseed oil, and coconut oil. Keep in mind that those of us who suffer with anxiety and panic attacks are also hypoglycemic and this, in itself, can give us those panic symptoms. That is one reason why a proper diet is crucial. A proper diet should also correct the gas, bloating, and flatulence.
Do the hot flashes precipitate a panic attack? Or is it part of her anxiety symptoms? This, together with the feeling of nausea could very well be part of anxiety. Lexapro may me contributing to the hot flashes, as this is one of the side effects.
Was she made aware of the risks of taking Loestrin?
Loestrin Fe can cause birth defects. Do not use if you are pregnant. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant, or if you miss two menstrual periods in a row. If you have recently had a baby, wait at least 4 weeks before taking Loestrin Fe (6 weeks if you are breast-feeding). Do not use Loestrin Fe if you have:
a history of a stroke, blood clot, or circulation problems;
a hormone-related cancer such as breast or uterine cancer;
abnormal vaginal bleeding;
liver disease, liver cancer, or a history of jaundice caused by birth control pills.
Before using Loestrin Fe, tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions.
high blood pressure or a history of heart disease;
high cholesterol, gallbladder disease, or diabetes;
migraine headaches or a history of depression; or
a history of breast cancer or an abnormal mammogram.
The hormones in Loestrin Fe can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Loestrin Fe may also slow breast milk production. Do not use if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Maybe you can guide her to the natural remedies that will help with cramps below:
http://www.tbyil.com/Menstrual_Cramps.htm
For heavy bleeding, she may want to take a cayenne tincture. By the way, this is also good for anxiety. Heavy bleeding can be the cause of an emotional upset and anxiety can imbalance hormones. Dr. Christopher's Cayenne Tincture is an excellent product that may help to regulate the bleeding and blood clots, and may help alleviate those headaches.

SSRI inhibitors work by dulling the senses, shutting off the emotions so to speak, giving the impression that the anxiety and panic is relieved. These are in no way a healing tool, just a very poor bandaid. They come with their dangerous side effects. Please refer to the link below:
http://productliability.cprlaw.com/Lexapro-Lexapro-Overview--3-9338-217.html
However, this is not a drug that should be stopped cold turkey if she has been taking it for any length of time. It may very well be necessary for her to wean herself off the medication under the supervision of a medical practitioner.
Anxiety and panic can be dealt with effectively naturally and, as opposed to going the drug route, total healing is very, very possible. I know...... I used to be the anxiety/panic attack poster child.
Below are guidelines that will help:
l-Theanine L-Tryptothan Colloidal Gold - This is an excellent supplement. It literally preserves the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It helps stabilize any chemical imbalances in the brain and lifts depression. You can get this at http://www.utopiasilver.com. They have a first time buyer offer where you get one free bottle for every 8 oz bottle ordered, but you must call to receive this offer. After that, by using their coupon code LR001, you will receive a 15% discount if it is not on sale. Actually, this is good for all of their products. I take this supplement daily. Plant Derived Trace Minerals - Trace minerals are crucial. Many times the cause of anxiety is due to a deficiency in these minerals. They also help to correct any chemical imbalances. Hawthorne Berry Syrup - This will help with a racing heart and will calm panic attacks. Iodine supplementation is crucial. Many times anxiety is due to a deficiency in iodine. I take SSKI and magnascent daily. The best source that I can refer you to is from Trapper at the Iodine Forum. That is where I get my iodine and they will guide you as to its use. Bach's Flower Remedies will help you to relax. Go down the list for the remedies that will help in your particular situation. Also, what helped me immensely was a product by the name of Mind Soothe carried by http://www.nativeremedies.com. However, I will point out that I do not know if the herbs such as the Bachflower Remedies or the Mind Soothe would interact with the medication she is taking. She would most probably need to have the Lexapro completely out of her system. She should start with a proper diet first and may very well find that her symptoms will be alleviated by eating properly. No sugar! This is deadly. The other supplements mentioned above are crucial. Bless your heart for helping this young girl. "Tortured" is the word that anyone that has gone through anxiety and panic can relate to. My Best, Luella
Hi unchihaMadara,
Your recap is correct, but if she has lung congestion, also include the Clear Lungs. The combination of colloidal silver, lobelia, and Clear Lungs cannot be beat for congestion.
I understand that pointing someone to natural healing may not be an overnight process. Sometimes it takes a little time and they have to be won over. Yet, it looks like you are already making tremendous progress.
Many years ago I would have agreed that a physician, because of their education, is more qualified in curing illnesses than those of us searching for alternative cures, but no more. The medical profession solely relies on drugs that are harmful and actually compromise the immune system. They no longer emphasize a proper diet and a healthy lifestyle. With these ingredients, healing is rarely possible. They end up "treating" the condition and managing your health in such a way as to pave the way to future illness. For example, some drugs used pave the way to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, etc. Cancer screening mechanisms are actually the means by which future cancers are incurred. Unless I find myself severely injured or in a possibly life threatening situation, I will not enter a doctor's office, the very doctors that will discourage natural healing, many times telling patients that it is dangerous. I think this is a travesty. Healing is no longer about nature, it has been replaced with drugs, and drugs only mask the problem. They do not cure. My history encompasses a lot of chronic health conditions that the medical profession said would be lifelong and that I would need certain medications for the rest of my life. This was, in fact, not true. I am the healthiest I have ever been and with the help of certain Curezone members, first and foresmost Tony, no longer rely on any prescription medications whatsoever. Other members that have guided me in my quest for health are Trapper and Chris1. Although not having a degree, through their own personal quest for health and ongoing research, they have become proficient in what they do. For example, Trapper is personally responsible for my no longer having thyroid issues.
I would venture to say that minerals derived from the sea would be just as natural as plant derived trace minerals. What you want to avoid are man made vitamins, synthetic vitamins that contain petroleum.
Oh my....... Maybe you can explain to her how important a natural diet is for her healing. This is absolutely crucial. Maybe you can win her over by fixing plates for her or giving her recipes. However, in the end, she must take the responsibility to eat properly. Otherwise, despite the fact that she is taking some necessary supplements, healing will not be achieved. You can't truly heal while still pumping any type of poisons into your body, and today's foods are just that, poisons. The empty feeling that she feels is twofold. First, she is simply ingesting empty calories making her want for "more." Eating a proper diet will alleviate this feeling. Of course, she should never go hungry. She should always keep something healthy nearby to snack on, whatever she likes, maybe nuts? Secondly, that "empty" feeling is very common to depression, so that need to eat is also driven by the force to make oneself feel better, to be happy, and, of course, those harmful comfort foods give that temporary "ahhhhh" feeling, but it is only temporary. They are actually feeding her condition and harming her body. I would suggest that she find someone with whom she could share her feelings with who can guide her to self-fulfillment and true happiness. Guaranteed, that empty feeling will disappear, of course, together with the proper diet. Chances are, she is also hypoglycemic and, if for no other reason, this is why a proper diet is crucial. Hypoglycemia can actually be responsible for the panic attacks. Maybe you can explain this to her. It really is not that difficult to learn to enjoy natural foods. I used to be a junk food "junkie." Actually, I was raised this way. I would reach for some processed junk food or sugar snack way before choosing fruits and vegetables. When I learned how important diet was for my healing, like it or not, I had to purposely make a decision and use discipline in order to eat right. I found that in a short period of time I felt so much better and I actually enjoyed the foods I was eating. I no longer had those cravings. This will also help stop those panic attacks. As I said, she should always have something on hand to snack on, but it must be healthy. She may want to check out the Recipe Section at The Best Years in Life for some ideas.
uchihaMadara, I, too, hope that she has the foresight and fortitude to make these changes in her life. Healing is not an easy thing. You cannot pick and choose what you will do. It takes your all, it takes discipline, and it takes perseverance. It is a 24/7 job. But, from my very own experience, I will share with you that by making a decision that one will do whatever it takes to get well, and following the proper guidelines, it will not take long at all to notice improvement, giving one the joy and hope that total healing is possible, and it really is.
I hope this answers all your questions.
My very best,
Luella
Bless your heart......... I know exactly what you are talking about. I have "been there, done that." I can see what you are going through watching her suffer with your desire to help her heal. I will tell you, anxiety can make your life a "walk through the depths of hell." In the end, one can only present the information, and if the person does not accept it, all we can do is be there for them and love them. Too often watching in sorrow.
Doctors are a huge hindrance when it comes to natural health. Through their "superiority" they convince a patient that is not familiar with natural health that it is "bogus," "snake oil," and outright dangerous, thus putting doubts in their minds and instilling fear. After all, we have been taught since childhood to trust our doctors. They know what's best. Well, through my own experience I will tell you that in the majority of cases, they do not know what's best. The sad part is that their knowledge comes from what they have learned in school and they simply have no clue.
Another factor is her age. She is very, very young and impressionable. And with her symptoms, she is most probably scared. Who else is influential in her life that may be advising her that the doctor is the only one that can help her? And this is so far from true. Look at the drugs that she is on now that are not giving her much relief and it's very possible that some of the symptoms that she is experiencing are due to side effects from those very drugs.
Now....... Her thyroid could be a huge part of the problem. It could be that once that is addressed and corrected, her symptoms will disappear, unless the anxiety is emotionally based. The thing is, the medications that the doctor will give her will not really help a heck of a lot. I took Synthroid for hypothyroidism for 20 years and I never truly got over the fatigue. There was always some sense of tiredness along with other symptoms. And I am sure that this had a lot to do with my anxiety disorder. Well, one thing led to another and I was introduced to Trapper at the iodine forum. Through his guidance I now supplement with Iodine and I am one of the lucky ones. I was able to get off my medication. The thyroid is very delicate and I don't know the ins-and-outs as he does, but in some cases, once on medication, you may not be able to do away with it. Even then, he and his partners at the Iodine forum can guide one as to what to do.
uchihaMadara, do the best you can to talk to her. Maybe give her some reading material or even suggest that she join Curezone. In the end, that's all you can do. Hopefully, she will heed your advice or maybe you are planting a seed for the future. I just hate to see healing postponed. It means years and years of suffering.
My very best to you,
Luella
"I have been monitoring the symptoms and more have surfaced.
9. Internal body temperature fluctuates between 97 to 98 degrees F, even though she feels hot or flushed.
10. Extreme fatigue, not sleepiness, is affecting her more often."
Okay, she's hypothyroid.......... Go to the iodine forum and get their advice. This is the very condition that Trapper is responsible in correcting in me. Is she also gaining weight?
The cold and flu/nausea symptoms could be due to many factors, including depression. By the way, nausea is another side effect of Lexapro.
The rise in blood pressure is very possibly due to her diet and if she is gaining weight that is also a factor. Again, diet is crucial. Keep in mind, a constant state of anxiety causes havoc with your heart, all types of irregular heart beats. Hawthorne Berry Syrup is very good for stabilizing the heart. Also, cayenne pepper tincture. Another thing, Lexapro causes fluxuations in blood pressure and also could be responsible for her depression becoming worse. Is she having any suicidal thoughts? Another side effect.
I am going to ask again if she has anyone to share her feelings with. I see a very unhappy young lady who needs help. I would seek a qualified therapist, preferably someone in the natural healing field. It could be that once emotional issues begin to be resolved that total healing will follow and she will have the incentive to do what it takes physically to get well.
My Best,
Luella
Oh my........ Okay, she is agoraphobic and her condition is emotionally based. You don't have to answer here, but I just wonder what other type of emotional damage was incurred by her mom. How else did she scare the sh*t out of her?
This is one scared little girl. The base of her anxiety and panic is "fear" accompanied most probably with insecurity and low self-esteem. It is these things that must be resolved. From my experience with agoraphobia, let me share with you that the fear is overwhelming. It permeates your very being, seems to take over every cell in your body and, on its own is very difficult to control. Let me rephrase that. When you are in the actual throes of anxiety, without the proper guidance, it cannot be controlled. You are at its mercy.
A person with agoraphobia needs a support person to lean on. And yes, uchihaMadara, very dark thoughts accompany this condition. They seem to have a life of their own. Suicide, unless triggered by drugs given to one, is highly unlikely, as the primary fear of one who has panic attacks is death. When a panic attack occurs, the feeling is that it will end in death. And I will tell you that it is very real. Now, in my studies I learned that someone with anxiety/panic/agoraphobia, has the emotional dependency of an 8 year old. I am going to share with you that from my own experience, I will drop that age level down to the emotional dependency of a 3 year old. This young lady needs a lot of love. And frankly, this is one of the main ingredients that she will need in her healing, for her to feel love and happiness.
Finding a therapist worth their salt could be extremely difficult, but not impossible. One problem is that they learn by the book and to truly understand what a person is going through you must have had to experience it. There is just no other way. And emotional healing takes time, but it is very possible. A person with agoraphobia needs lots of love and understanding, and tons of patience.
Okay......... So the fear is "emptiness" that will trigger a panic attack and she associates this with food. This is emotionally based and once the emotional issue and/or fear is resolved, this will disappear. Her diet doesn't sound too bad, unless the other foods consist of sweets, cakes, pies, etc. These are extremely harmful. Beans are good and the rice should be brown rice. The meat portion should consist of chicken, turkey, and fresh water fish. No red meat. And you will probably have to work with her when it comes to diet because of her fear of that "emptiness." It looks like it may have to be a gradual process. Does she live with someone, or is she alone most of the time?
Also, it is very unusual and highly unlikely that a therapist will go to her house (although I have heard that they are out there, few and far between). Again, this is because they don't "understand." It seems to me that anyone in a counseling situation with someone who is agoraphobic would make this a critera, but this is my own two cents. Anyway, is there anyone who could bring her to her appointments? It sounds like this is going to be crucial in her healing. Of course, I would suggest someone in the holistic field. This way, they could also help her with the proper diet and supplements. I so wish I knew someone who I could refer.
I am going to give you a couple of links to get started and hopefully you can find one in her area? Do you live close to her?
http://heartspring.net/naturopathic_directory.html
By the way, I just did a google search on Diaphoresis and one of the causes is anxiety.
uchihaMadara, my heart goes out to this girl. Anxiety, especially when agoraphobia is involved, is a very serious condition. It basically ruins one's life. Yet, that life can be attained, and actually, a better life. Through love, understanding, and patience, she needs to see that she also needs to play an integral part in her healing. (And this is not easy) But if she knows that someone will be there to catch her if she falls, it will make it so much easier. And chances are that she won't fall. That's just one of the fears.
I so hope I have helped you to help her.
My Best,
Luella
