Re: Humans are 'aliens from outer space'

In answer to your first question, please re-read my post.

Q.Is concience irrational? A. It can be.

Q.Is love rational? A. I don't believe so.

Q.Do you have faith in science? A. No, I believe that scientific method is the best way to examine a theory, and the most likely way to prove a theory.

Q.Are there not leaders of science? A. There are people who have experience in their field, perhaps more so than others. But as for being leaders, with followers, I don't think so. People may study the same areas of science, they may be interested in the same theories. In some areas of academia, there may be hierarchies. I guess it depends on what you think a leader is.

Q.What qualifies one to be a scientist? A. That would depend on who your asking.

"Science is systematic knowledge, Dealing with facts and truth, are these truths universal? Or do you merely have faith in them?"

Science is knowledge collected from examination and observation. The body of knowledge is constantly growing and changing. I don't need faith in this knowledge because I can examine and observe for myself, there is no requirement for belief in that which you cannot test, and know for yourself, so no, I do not merely have faith.

You are free to think the bible is logical, but this does not make it so, it makes it your belief.

There are no universal truths, only what is true for you, and this is a true statement for me.
