Re: Humans are 'aliens from outer space'

"There is no-one trying to force these ideas on others either. "

No? Propaganda is not exactly force, but it is a means to a perceived end. There are many scientists who ARE trying to force their dogma on others, bio-ethics comes to mind. Just because you don't know or perceive any scientists that are trying to do so, does not mean they do not exist. I have met many in my life, and they are currently working to impose their dogma just like the religions of old have done.

Psychologists consider themselves to be scientists they definitely impose their beliefs on others.

The Nazi's did it in WW2 with their "scientific" eugenics scheme, and I am sure we will see it again in the not too distant future.

"Nobody can expect someone to believe a claim without proof of the claim, if one makes the claim, one has the burden of proof to provide evidence to support the claim, particularly if the one making the claim wants to be taken seriously."

People can expect whatever they want, but that does not make it so.
