Alien life from outer space is considered as supernatural by some. Generally because they have a lack of understanding of the mysterious components of such forms...which is logical at this point in time.

Christians are also, encouraged to be wise as serpents, that means, utilizing science... knowledge. Real knowledge, not something manufactured by a corporeal entity.

There is a large movement in society that either pits Science against religion, or tries to separate them in extricably. I don't personally think this is wise seeing as religious scriptures contain much of our ancient knowledge and can be utilized to cross check scientific theories from an alternative perspective.
The current scientific climate in the world is highly dogmatic and is essentially manipulated by a priest class and corporations that are more interested in the bottom line than, the accuracy of their science. Tweet
