Atkins - VERY unhealthy for some people

I speak from experience - Atkins is very unhealthy for people like myself.

When I sautee eggs in butter (or especially if I take inflammatory potatoes together with clogging butter) I'm in BIG trouble.

I once bought the Betty Crocker low-carb chocolate-chip cookie mix.

I followed the recipe INCLUDING butter. My body locked up afterward.

Listen, if YOU would be inside MY body and insider OTHERS' bodies, you wouldn't be so sure of yourself as you are now.
Everything is relative.

It's everyone's choice who to believe, depending on their EXPERIENTIAL PERSPECTIVE, rather than SEMANTICS DISHED OUT BY ALL & SUNDRY.

By the way, re: "C" what I mean is that EXCESSIVE "C" can be either intolerable or tolerable to people depending on their particular makeup, and can furthermore be tested via QXCI.

I once participated in an e-group wherein a guy mentioned that he visited a kinesologist who advised him the maximum dosage of "C" tolerable for his body, since beyond that max, his arm weakened. And that guy was not a weakling, from what I gathered - yet his arm weakened beyond that dosage. Beware of kineseologists though, not all of them are reliable, in fact I'd say the majority are not, even if there's *some* truth to many modalities.

As for dairy fats, to give another example, I *am* able to tolerate moderate servings of Edy's French Silk ice cream which happens to be delicious.
Here's why:
(1) Even though it's dairy fat, still it's LOW fat (rather than saturated)
(2) Even though it's dairy fat, still, it doesn't contain starch in its ingredients

Does this mean I avoid starches? NO, NO & AGAIN NO!
If starches are water-logged, such as liquidy instant-potatoes, they're OK. Whole wheat bread, rye krisp, rice cakes are OK. There's so much more to the story.

It has to do with the particular combo of food. For all I know, even *if* corn starch causes ice cream to become problematic, maybe corn starch in the form of gravy is less problematic.

But then, most people prefer black & white rather than shades of grey...

If only they believed in shades of grey more, then maybe they'd develop the instinct to listen to their bodies rather than what so-called experts tell them. Hey, if such instincts were well-honed, maybe the tsunami victims would have been spared just like those animals. See, animals don't have the power of SPEECH, that's why they can't understand EXPERTS such as Atkins!

But you'll just keep on arguing no matter what I say, right? I usually post either for the purpose of asking advice, or else in order to give people the benefit of my money-wasted experiences TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. I definitely don't enjoy debating with people merely for the sake of debate.

So if there's anyone intelligent reading this, and if they have health problems, they have absolutely nothing to lose by experimenting. All I ask is this: If anyone reading this is helped, please spread the word, so that the benefit can have a ripple effect rather than stagnating.
