Re: Hypoglycemia: what worked for you?

Hi Daniel,

Sounds like you've had a difficult time of things and I hope you're starting to feel better now that you have a diagnosis.

My doctor who is the author of the book The Hypoglycemia Connection, recommends the following 3 rules of thumb:

1/ Eat every 2.5 hours
2/ Eat protein at every meal (and snack)
3/ Do not eat any Sugar or any products containing any form of sugar.

I find if I follow these rules then it controls my condition. However the minute I slip from these rules, I get side effects.

Other things are chromium supplements. Also I tend to avoid most grains and fruits.

I'm still trying to find more answers because I don't want to live like this. I'm going to try the coconut oil suggestion above!

Good luck
