Re: Hypoglycemia: what worked for you?

Hi Daniel - I've been dealing with hypoglycemia (off and on) most of my adult life, and still have a tendency towards it. I've also been dealing with a lot of overlapping conditions like adrenal fatigue, toxic bowel, sluggish liver, etc. most of my life.

I've done many things that have improved my hypoglycemia over the last several years. Eating a healthy, high-fiber diet has made the biggest difference ongoingly. Healing from the other conditions I mentioned has also helped a lot.

"Optimal Wellness" by Dr. Ralph Golan is an excellent book on this and related conditions. It has a chapter on hypoglycemia, and a lot of good recommendations for diet and other ways to control it. "The Mood Cure" by Julia Ross also has good information on the topic.
