Wow, I was just asking about this....and you have given me so much to read, I will print it. Yes, the benzo thing is a problem again b/c I took it too long to help with agonizing symptoms this year, and when I tried to stop, major w/d, so now I'm on a long withdrawal again and having many sx.
My ammonia was very low I tested it b/c of what Newport said. All liver tests normal usually, except long term elevated bilirubin. It would be interesting to see if this was ever elevated as a kid....
Anyway, I took Alinia for 3 weeks at max dose, my doctor ordered this specifically for me. I started these insane muscle sx very badly near the end more than ever. Checked blood and ammonia was 288! I freaked, and finally 2 weeks later, she tested me again, without any intervention, it went below normal to .9 ?!
I don't get it and neither did she. Tweet
