Re: Identifying a fluke
Hello, Thank you for your reply. This is certainly an educational process for all, including me. You have obviously done your homework and are more astute to the type of infections that are reported.
I can only concur that I did have at least a fluke infection, as I have a few samples saved. I live in the NE, which isn't mentioned in the different areas of infection, so it may be that it is even more prevalent, or in the least, a bit more less accurate as to where the infections are possible.
I can also attest to the stool test being inaccurate, as I had 2 tests done, upon my insisting, just days prior to me "capturing" the samples. I did not even go back to the doctors to show him, as what good what it do.....He actually told me "I prescribed this med as a courtesy to you"....I just have a real hard time with this beligerence and don't care to see him at this point....especially knowing how I have suffered.
I am only left to wonder how many people with various Dx's of fibromyalgia and other umbrella type dx's that have this issue instead?
God bless everyone on the road to healing!
Joe
