Re: Fluke infection......Need Guidance and Reassurance
Oh, here are some thoughts about the vertigo in case they might relate.
Have you heard of benign positional vertigo? I think that is more a name to attach to symptoms than anything else, though theoretically it is associated with the ossicles
moving around too much or something. It can be correlated to Menniere's (sp?) Syndrome, if not right away, sometimes later. That syndrome causes ringing in the ears, maybe a sense of fullness in the ears as well as vertigo.
The thing is Menniere's, and therefore for all I know, BPV, is correlated to problems with manganese being too low. Manganese can be too low due to too much milk or calcium, which binds manganese, and guess what, I was having problems with vertigo & ringing ears at times & was a milkaholic. Have you had your blood thoroughly tested for vitamins, minerals, amino acids, also for hormone levels? That can be very helpful.
The doctor who took 17 vials of blood from me for testing said my manganese was low. Now I take manganese supplements at least 4 hours before drinking any milk.
Just some more info to think over in case it might be helpful.
