Thanks Luella. Grz recommended that I nebulize with epsom salt water which I did last night because it seemed like a more gentle treatment than the CS, but unfortunately it made my asthma symptoms (which were mild) much worse. I was just feeling a tickle in my chest but now I"m actually coughing.

So now I'm a little nervous to take the plunge with the colloidal silver. I really don't want to have to go back on the inhaler. I don't have any congestion really to speak of in my nose or lungs, just the tickle and urge to cough (it's a dry cough). It waxes and wanes throughout the day; I haven't correlated it to any allergies so far and I don't have sinus problems. I do use the neti pot once a day to try not to drip into my lungs.

That might be the mechanism for how it helps allergies.
