Hi all - not being a physician I can't refer to double blind experiments and etc. but can restate my rapid reversal of a major personal experience of acidosis using several vitamin 'd' tablets per day together with 2-3 teaspoons/ day of calcium-hydroxide-powder mixed with my salads and moreless drinks - all this I reinforced with avoidance of acidifying foods such as white-rice, white-flour pasta and pastries, tomatoes, animal-foods, fried-foods, oils other than unheated flaxseed oil, dahl, lentils, soy-sauce, and industrially-processed juices - in retrospect I understand my condition as being caused largely as a result of depleted calcium (alkaline) reserves in turn partly caused by low vitamin 'd' (common with older people), high intake of acid foods, all exacerbated by unusually high stress levels - now I continue to alkalyse using various alkalysing foods charts (including Baroody's) - best regards - broh
