Re: My hard plight - Story of a 29 year old dealing with folliculitis decalvans for more than 10 years
Hi Scarhead and many thanks for your welcome message.
I was starting to think everyone was away on holiday.
Are there really a lot of people with FD here?
The most numerous we will be, the better.
Anyway I looked at your picture and it is really not so bad for a 7 year old case. One thing I would recommend to you is to try pills that have worked marvellously for me.
Actually, even if my case might be the most severe from an aesthetic point of view, I've managed to control the inflammations quite well with
Antibiotics (mynocyclin) + miraculous pills I find here in France.
They are called "perle de peau" (something like skin pearls) and they help moisturize skin from within.
I don't know if your doctors ever mentionned skin dryness as one of the problems you have, but if so, I would highly recommend you try them. It could help you get rid of all inflammations.
Here is a link of sites where you can buy them (they are very cheap)

If you prefer to ask your chemist if they have it in your own country let me give you the components:
Borago Officinalis 250 mg/caps (35.5%)
Oenothera biennis 250 mg/caps (35.5%)
Vitamin E (soja oil)
A 30 euro box lasts 3 months and you should see the results after 1 month.
Give it a try!!
