Re: My digestive system has failed to start up after my last fast. Help!
I think other posters made mention that the fast may have been broken too fast.
On a fast of that length, where the return of natural hunger wasn't present, it is ideal to do just juice for a few days followed by soft fruits for a few days and then on to easy to digest salads.
The eggs, nuts, and whole grains introduced on the third day may very well be the culprit. Those foods should be more like two weeks in on a fast of that length and introduced one at a time preferably only one introduced per day in order for the system to adapt to the new foods.
All that said, if your situation persists, I would seek out a good kinesiologist.
I made this similar mistake following my thirty day fast where I had wheat on the third day (and sugar), I consumed a bunch of "healthy" whole grain wheat cookies.
A kinesiologist found a valve between the stomach and small intestine to be stuck - a stuck ileocecal valve. Which he fixed.
A good kinesiologist can test and find whatever is out of sinc with the body.
