So, Omega 3 and depression


So, someone has recomended me to read the Omega 3 connection, for Depression but I think it mostly sites sources from fish. What do vegans/nutritarians do to treat depression? I know to excercise. I look on Dr.Furhman's website and he recommends taking a DHA formula, is that all I really need to take?
