Re: mirena questions

So glad you got this out finally! Best of luck with recovery :) I had nausea and it went away in about a month.
My dr. refused to admit that any of my symptoms were related to Mirena but took it out anyway.

The thing that made me most angry about removal, however (I was expecting my dr's bad attitude) were also the lab fees. According to my doctor, Bayer REQUIRES that before removal every patient be given a pregnancy test. Does Bayer pay for this test? NO. The costs are passed on to be, no matter that I had been tested two months prior with my yearly pap etc. and that because of Mirena I had been literally TOO SICK TO HAVE SEX for 8 months. SURPRISE! Not pregnant. She wouldn't remove it until I had the test taken, otherwise I would have left the office as soon as the speculum was removed.

Sigh . . . Just glad that part is over and we're all recovering. Good luck and good health! Watch out for the crash, and if it happens try not to be too discouraged.
