Re: Calcium / Vitamin D
Spotted another of your posts on calcium and blood pressure. Well dug out my test notes from Biolab, I had higher than normal serum calcium and was massively vitamin D deficient. I never had these results re done, albeit recently ran out of vitamin D supplement and my hair loss has gotten worse. Wonder if there is any link to my high protein, potential kidney issues from this. I also took potassium once and think it helped with my balance. Hmm? Any thoughts?
Hyperparathyroidism comes to mid. This is one of the most common sources of hihg serum calcium and can be caused from low vitamin D levels.
Ps - just been on my exercise bike, about a minute in I got that metallic taste, and after 5 mins or so I was itching like absolute mad!! Any ideas?
Metallic tastes can have a number of reasons from metal exposure, which can also displace calcium, to bleeding gums, medications, kidney problems............
Itching is also a tricky one. The most common reasons though include allergies or liver issues.
