I understand what you are saying. At the same time, however, I feel that even if we were informed, that does not mean we don't have a right to support each other through the symptoms. There is a difference between complaining and looking for support. We all take risks in life, but we don't always think we will get them. It's human nature to think you are invincible to a certain extent. Otherwise we would all cower in our homes. I am sure you thought this too, since you chose to have the mirena as well.
One thing that the documents nor the doctors discuss is that the symptoms last well beyond the removal of mirena. Some people here have had lasting effects. If some of us did have a negative reaction to the silicone that may have ended up in our bloodstreams, there is no way to detox from that. There have been very little testing done on the long term effects of many of these drugs and drug components.
